Child Protection for Equestrians - Refresher

Our selection of online safeguarding training courses have been developed specifically to meet the needs of the equestrian sector. These courses are written in association with the British Equestrian Federation and are recognised by the British Horse Society.

We provide online child protection training for equestrian volunteers, as well as refresher training for equestrian professionals who have previously completed face-to-face safeguarding training. Our courses save you money and ensure that you don’t have to close your riding centre or lose out on valuable time attending face-to-face training. Our online courses deliver high quality safeguarding training, with scenarios and downloadable content specific to equestrians.

Both courses are written in line with key safeguarding requirements for Ofsted, the British Equestrian Federation and equivalent governing bodies, and are updated frequently to meet legislation changes.

Please browse the individual course pages for more information, frequently asked questions and pricing details.

Testimonials

I actually found this better than the face to face course I did 3 years ago.  Examples were good, challenging at times but relevant.

Although it was a lot of information to read and digest, I really liked the short tests at the end of some modules as they were a good indicator of how much information I had retained and digested correctly. It made the course quite interactive in a way. I also found all the links to documents & websites as well as the downloads very useful. Thank you very much.

Super, super efficient!

I found this course useful.  Due to the intermittent questions, one cannot just click to the end but you have to really read everything.  I have been made aware of many signs of abuse due to your scenarios given.  This refresher has been great!
