WHAT WE OFFER
Dental safeguarding training for the whole practice
The BDA recommend that all staff are trained to at least Level 1 and this is achievable with our online Level 1 Safeguarding for Dentists course. Clinical staff such as dentists, hygienists and dental nurses will also require Level 2 training, this can be obtained by taking both our Level 1 and Level 2 Safeguarding for Dentists courses.
Specialist clinical staff, such as paediatric dentists or those with a specialist role that requires an additional depth of safeguarding knowledge may require extra training, but this is not required by most dental practices.
Our dental courses meet CQC safeguarding outcomes. Dental online safeguarding courses take around 1 to 2 hours to complete. Each course is worth 3 hours of verifiable CPD and meets the General Dental Council’s (GDC) Development Outcome A, can be paused and restarted as many times as necessary, and provides a certificate instantly on successful completion.
