Face-to-Face Training

We offer face-to-face safeguarding training throughout Derbyshire, to organisations of all types.

The sessions can be given via one of our safeguarding experts visiting onsite or they can be conducted virtually. Our courses are ideal for those who come into direct or indirect contact with children, young people and vulnerable adults.

The courses are interactive and fulfil government requirements for safeguarding and our knowledgable safeguarding trainers can adapt the courses to the needs of your staff and workplace.

Train up to 20 staff for £525.00!

£525.00 (exc. VAT and trainer's expenses)

Group sizes of 6-20 individuals (please contact us if you have a larger group size you would like to train)

Each course takes around 3 hours (half a day)

Certificate on completion

Extra add-on charge of £50.00 for twilight, weekend and evening sessions

Our experienced trainers can now deliver bespoke training courses to you and your staff via video conference. You'll get the same price, the same trainer and the same course, with the added convenience of a virtual education centre.

Let us work around your calendar!

We do not schedule walk-in, face-to-face safeguarding training sessions for the general public. We'll book a particular date with one of our trainers, exclusively for your organisation. They're very flexible!

A broad multi-agency group, Derby and Derbyshire Safeguarding Children Partnership is responsible for child safeguarding countywide. Derby City Council, Derbyshire County Council, Derby and Derbyshire Clinical Commissioning Group, Tameside and Glossop Clinical Commissioning Group and Derbyshire Constabulary work together in this partnership.

Derbyshire Safeguarding Adults Board has similarly wide membership, housing multiple local authorities working in conjunction with a host of local charities too.
