We provide face-to-face safeguarding training courses to organisations in and around Cumbria. During these sessions, our expert trainers can give your staff an in-depth understanding of safeguarding best practices and fulfil your legal duties.

Our trainers can also tailor each course to your needs, so it is right for you, whether you work in a school, hotel, care home or any other industry.

This course has been designed for all staff who come into direct or indirect contact with children, young people and vulnerable adults and can be conducted in the comfort of your own setting or virtually, whatever you prefer!

Interested in virtual training?

Our experienced trainers can now deliver bespoke training courses to you and your staff via video conference. You'll get the same price, the same trainer and the same course, with the added convenience of a virtual education centre.

Let us work around your calendar!

We do not schedule walk-in, face-to-face safeguarding training sessions for the general public. We'll book a particular date with one of our trainers, exclusively for your organisation. They're very flexible!

More information

Cumbria Safeguarding Children Partnership resides over safeguarding matters across the region. It is a multi-agency endeavour, staffed by Cumbria County Council, Cumbria Police and both North Cumbria and Morecambe Bay Commissioning Groups.

The Cumbria Adult Safeguarding Board leads safeguarding adults action across the county, working closely with local organisations to protect abused and/or neglected vulnerable adults.
