Raising awarness of children being targetted by criminals

West Midlands police have launched an awareness campaign to encourage people to recognise the signs of child exploitation.

Operation Sentinel will run over the next five months and will aim to raise awareness of five key crime types – child sexual exploitation, honour-based violence, human trafficking, female genital mutilation, and domestic abuse.  (source BirminghamMail)

West Midlands police are working with other agencies including schools, social services and charities to raise awareness amongst the public and professionals.

The child protection and e-Safety training courses from the ChildProtectionCompany.com all give details of the signs and symptoms of abuse and how to help protect children.
