Preventing extremism- your NEW legal duty

New legislation for schools

From 1st July 2015, schools have been required to prevent young people from being drawn into terrorism. Staff   must know how to identify children who are at risk of radicalisation and what to do if children are identified.

Have you got your training?

Our NEW online Safeguarding in Education Course has been specifically written with this in mind. It has modules on specific safeguarding risks including online safety, radicalisation and extremist behaviour and is in line with Ofsted’s new safeguarding requirements.

The course takes around two hours to complete and offers all staff working in educational settings a detailed introduction to safeguarding topics. What’s more, being an online course it doesn’t require staff to all be in one place at the same time or to complete training on the same day.

To make sure your school is prepared, simply give us a call on 01327 552030. Or email and we’ll set your school up with a FREE demonstration copy.
