If you’re in the midst of an Ofsted-related panic, you really should have a look at their recently released document.
The document seeks to dispel the myths surrounding workload during inspections.
Here is some of what they have to say:
- Ofsted doesn’t require schools to provide individual lesson plans
- Individual lessons are no longer graded
- Ofsted does not expect to see the specific details of the pay grade of any teacher who is observed
- There is no particular frequency or quantity of work inspectors expect to see in pupils’ books
For more detail and for more information, take a look at the document in its entirety.
It’s certainly worth a read!
