From 1st July 2015, schools and education providers have been required to prevent young people from being drawn into terrorism. Staff must know how to identify children who are at risk of radicalisation and what to do if children are identified.
Our new course, “Awareness of Prevent Duty“, has been written with the help of a leading Prevent practitioners with extensive experience of coordinating Prevent activity between local authorities, the Police, Universities, colleges and schools as well as local communities. The course is in line with the latest government guidance and fulfils the safeguarding outcomes as specified by Ofsted.
The Awareness of Prevent Duty training is an online course which can be taken at any time of day. Comprising of six modules, followed by an assessment to test understanding. It should take around one to two hours to complete; although it can be paused and restarted, where you left off, at any time.
