If you have new staff starting in January, have you considered their safeguarding training?

If not, don’t worry we can help.  Our new Safeguarding in Education course has been written to specifically meet the requirements of those working within the education sector.  Essentially, three courses in one it covers an introduction to child protection and safeguarding issues such as FGM, online safety and the Prevent duty.

The course takes around 2 hours to complete but as it’s online you can either set time aside during your inset day or use it for twilight training.  The only requirement is that your staff have access to a screen and the internet.

New Legislation

  • Ofsted made a number of updates to their safeguarding expectations from 1st September 2015.
  • From 1st July 2015, schools have been required to prevent young people from being drawn into terrorism.  Staff must know how to identify children who are at risk of radicalisation and what to do if children are identified.

How can I buy this training?

It’s really simple to purchase training directly from our website.  Click here to go directly to the Safeguarding in Education page.  Then, simply add the number of courses you require to your basket and go to checkout.  You’ll be prompted to either sign in or register so you can set up an account and pay.
