Just in case you forgot to put it on the calendar, we thought we’d remind you that today is Get Organised Day, an international celebration of—you guessed it—getting organised!
Get Organised Day is a great opportunity to focus on the important tasks that can get so easily forgotten every other day of the year. When was the last time you cleared out the kitchen cupboards, for example? Or took your car in for its annual service? What about safeguarding training—when was the last time you checked the date on your certificates?
Like so many other important documents, it can be easy to forget about your training certificates until something urgent prompts you to dig them out. While our online child protection training courses provide you with valuable knowledge that impacts your decisions every day, on Get Organised Day we’d like to remind you that making sure your training certificates are up to date is just as important as completing the training in the first place. You wouldn’t want to get caught with expired certificates in the middle of an inspection, and it’s best not to wait until the week before to renew your training, either. Safeguarding concerns can crop up at any time, so, as someone who works closely with children, it is your duty to ensure your training records are maintained.
Most of our online safeguarding training courses take between 1-2 hours to complete. That’s much less time than it would take to clear out the kitchen cupboards, and you don’t even need to move from your seat! If you’re going to dedicate some time to getting organised today, here at ChildProtectionCompany.com, we know which task we’d rather complete…
