A new study, reported in Growing your baby, by the EU Kids online project has raised concerns about how very young children are now increasingly using the Internet, whilst they are far too young to understand the risks. The project has also highlighted the risks in parental use of the Internet, with many parents posting photographs and details of their young children online.
The Growing your baby article ends with some questions which would be useful for all parents to ask themselves:
Have you ever given any thought to how your toddler interacts with the internet?
Have you ever wondered if it was safe to post photos or videos of your children? When do you think this might be appropriate? When might it be inappropriate?
