Safeguarding in Education: Our updated Safeguarding in Education online training has been written to meet the safeguarding needs of those working in the education sector. Essentially the equivalent of three courses in one, it covers Ofsted’s recent changes to safeguarding (September 2015), the inclusion of the Prevent Duty (July 2015) and potential online safety risks.
Safeguarding in Education: Early Years: Our brand new Safeguarding in Education: Early Years online training has been written to meet the safeguarding needs of those working in the early years sector. Essentially the equivalent of three courses in one, it covers recent changes to safeguarding (Working Together 2015, Keeping Children Safe in Education 2016), the inclusion of the Prevent Duty (July 2015) and potential online safety risks.
Child Protection for Childminders: An updated course specifically developed for childminders and their assistants, combining our Introduction and Further Child Protection courses with modules on online safety and radicalisation. A comprehensive course containing information, case studies and questions specifically relevant to those working in childminding. It covers abuse and identifying concerns, legislation and guidance, child protection policies and procedures, online safety, radicalisation and extremism, working with other agencies, handling allegations and complaints and how and when to make referrals.
