The Child Protection for Childminders training course has been specifically developed for childminders, taking into account the particular role of a childminder and the situations they may come across. Written by child protection experts and a leading Childminders Association, it gives childminders and their assistants the knowledge and tools to help them fulfil their safeguarding responsibilities. The course is in line with the requirements and guidance of Ofsted, Working Together to Safeguard Children 2013 and the EYFS Statutory Framework (paragraph 3.6).
This convenient on-line course can be taken at a time to suit, can be stopped and started as often as you like and takes between one and two hours to complete. The course includes childminder specific scenarios and questions within the following modules:
