When researching which online child protection training to take, don’t forget to look at the features of the learning management platform too. If you have more than a couple of people in your organisation, it’s important that the platform allows you to manage the training process. Here are a few features you should look out for:
- Can you view all of the training certificates from one easy place?
- Will the system remind you when training needs to be refreshed?
- Can you see who has passed the training?
- Can you see who is yet to take the training?
- Can you add and remove users?
- Can you reset user’s passwords?
We’re pleased to say that you can do all of this (and more) using the ChildProtectionCompany.com.

We are pleased to annouce the release of our combined child protection/adult safeguarding training courses. There are quite a few areas where staff need to receive both child protection and vulnerable adult safeguarding training, for example dentists, hospital staff etc. Traditionally this has required taking two separate courses, with the added costs of both time and money.
Although unique in their own way, child protection and adult safeguarding has a lot in common and therefore by combing the training into one eLearning course, a learner can quickly get up to speed on both topics.
There are two courses available to take:
Introduction To Adult/Child Protection – Level 1. A general safeguarding course specifically designed for anyone who comes into contact with children and adults at risk. It covers legislation and guidance, the different types of abuse, the range of indicators of abuse and neglect, together with your responsibilities with regard to reporting concerns.
Leading On Adult/Child Protection – Level 2. An online safeguarding course specifically developed for the nominated safeguarding lead and deputy within an organisation, who have already completed a Level 1 course. It is also suitable for anyone wishing to cover the topic in more depth. It covers safeguarding policies and procedures, identifying concerns, handling allegations and complaints and how and when to make referrals.

Did you know that every one of our child protection training certificates has a unique ID number which you can use to verify the certificate on our website? Just click on the following link:
www.childprotectioncompany.com/verify
and enter the number and the system will tell you who the certificate is registered to and when it expires.
This feature allows our certificates to be portable, as it’s then very easy for any organisation to check a person’s certificate is valid.
