Developed in-house, they are in line with the latest government guidance including Working Together to Safeguard Children 2013. All courses can be paused, stopped and restarted at any time to allow you to take the course at the pace and time that suits you and can be retaken as many times as is needed to pass the final assessment, at no extra cost. A general online child protection training course specifically designed for anyone who comes into contact with children, young people and families. It fulfils the safeguarding outcomes as specified by Ofsted and CQC. It covers legislation and guidance, the different types of child abuse, the range of indicators of abuse and neglect, together with your responsibilities with regard to reporting concerns. This course is also available in dental, sports and education/schools specific versions, which can be selected when the course is started. Introduction To Child Protection for Equestrian Volunteers. An online introductory child protection training course specifically designed for anyone who comes into contact with children, young people and families through their work volunteering in the equestrian sector. It is in line with the latest government guidance and is produced in association with the British Equestrian Federation. It covers legislation and guidance, the different types of child abuse, the range of indicators of abuse and neglect, together with your responsibilities with regard to reporting concerns. Equestrian specific case studies and questions are used throughout the course.
Child Protection for Childminders. A course specifically developed for childminders and their assistants, combining our Introduction and Further Child Protection courses whilst incorporating information, case studies and questions specifically relevant to those working in childminding. It covers the roles and responsibilities of childminders in safeguarding, the types of abuse and identifying concerns, legislation and guidance, child protection policies and procedures, working with other agencies, handling allegations and complaints and how and when to make referrals.
Further Child Protection. An online child protection training course specifically developed for the nominated child protection lead and deputy within an organisation, who have already completed an Introduction To Child Protection course. It fulfils the safeguarding outcomes as specified by Ofsted and CQC. It covers child protection policies and procedures, identifying concerns, handling allegations and complaints and how and when to make referrals.
